The story

Fifteen years of family road trips left behind a shoebox of maps, ticket stubs, and patches sewn onto a backpack that had long since worn out. None of it was worth much on its own — together, it was the whole family history.

"We used to spread the map out on the kitchen table to plan the next trip. Now the table remembers all of them at once."

How it was made

Maps, patches, and small keepsakes were laid out and arranged under a custom-cut glass top, set into a table base built by one of our local woodworking partners. The arrangement follows the actual routes the family traveled — this isn't a decorative collage, it's a record.
