Four years of Friday nights, home games, and away-game bus rides lived in this jersey. When he left for college, his parents didn't want it folded into a drawer — they wanted somewhere to sit with it.
The jersey's fabric was assessed for wear and stabilized before being seamed into the backrest and seat panel of a bench frame, built by one of our local woodworking partners. The number and team colors stayed visible in the finished piece — this wasn't about hiding the jersey inside furniture, but letting it still be seen.
